Trying out this Thai dessert shop in LA, surprisingly there was so much to chose from. Some items were a bit pricey, but it’s understandable with this economy. For the purple cupcake, did you use food color to dye or is there a cupcake flavor to it?

Wish you could have kept the camera just a little longer on the fresh desert counter, my mouth watering, I am a sucker for bhan Kanom, I would have walked out a fat dog with a couple sacks. Too bad that was not there the last time I was in LA, wife and I ate diner once at this restaurant that was upstairs next to the market, they had stage live singers, they were good too, they sang a mix of tunes. Taoron bakery was one of my favorites to grab some fresh Tahini bread and spinach beorek, I would be the only Thai in there too, they are very helpful but I know what I wanted. I had Armenian friends in school and they got me into it.

I love your recipe as I've made it a few times. However, when it sits out too long, it starts to melt or not be as firm. How can I make this and have the firmness last longer for parties when its sitting out?
